The Open Stage Cup is an international dance competition specifically created for the performance of groups, formations, and productions.

The Open Stage Cup is the first of its kind competition in Bulgaria, created specifically for the performance of groups, formations, and productions. It will take place on September 21-22, 2024, at Asics Arena, Sofia, within the framework of the World Cosplay Championship festival, organized by Anime S. This is expected to be one of the largest dance events in Bulgaria’s cultural calendar this year, bringing together talented dancers from both the country and abroad, and attracting over 10,000 visitors.
Dancers will be able to compete in 10 dance categories: Acro, Contemporary / Modern, Lyrical, Jazz, Open, Latin Show, Pom Pom, Disco Dance, Commercial, Street Dance.
The age categories are Baby, Mini, Kids, Junior, Youth, and Senior, allowing participation for children from 3 to 18+ years. The only requirement is that they participate in dances falling within the categories of group, formation, or production. Dancers can join one of the two selected dance leagues – League A, for professionals who attend choreographic schools or dance more than 4 hours a week, and League B – for amateurs.
True to their tradition of ensuring every child at the competition feels respected and their efforts appreciated, the organizers have planned individual diplomas and medals for each participant. The grand prizes for the best-performing collectives will include designer trophies and medals for the top three winners, as well as cash and material prizes from the project sponsors.
