Kalakeli Movement Arts invites dancers and movement practitioners from around the world to take part in an immersive training residency in Goa. The programme brings together acclaimed teachers from India and abroad, offering a rich blend of practices to inspire the next generation of contemporary movement artists.

Training covers contemporary technique, traditional martial arts, yoga, meditation, breathwork, fighting methodologies, improvisation, creative research, and complementary lectures on the sciences of body, mind, and soul.

Hosted at Itaíba, Arambol (Goa), the residency takes place in lush natural surroundings, creating space for deep focus, creativity, and connection with nature.

Price includes:

– 128+ hours of guided training per month

– Evenings/weekends for personal research

– Shared huts, dorms, or house rooms

– 2 vegetarian/vegan meals daily (Mon–Fri), tea, and filtered water

– Cacao ceremony, dance, breathwork, ice bath sessions and tezmascal

How to apply:
To apply for a place on our next intensive, we require the registration form to be completed in full with a letter of motivation
and a link to a video of you moving.

Applications will be confirmed throughout the registration period, through a selection process. Once selected we will confirm within one week of registration.
