Why Biomechanics?
Because within the Soma lies a hidden organic intelligence — a natural, somatic technique waiting to be re-membered, re-called, and brought into light.
Why Spiral-Dynamics Biomechanics?
Because we are three-dimensional beings — in space, time, and energy.
Spiral-Dynamics reveals this through biological techniques that realign our impulses, energies, and gestures into clear, coherent flow.
It awakens spontaneous rhythm, authentic movement, and integrated presence.
The breath of the spinal spiral unites body, gesture, language, and intention — forming one harmonic state of being.
Muscles speak. Breath speaks. So does the dance.
Through consonant breath and gesture, intention becomes embodied expression — conscious, clear, and whole.
Spinal Spiral Dynamics reawakens deep somatic knowledge — instinct, rhythm, harmony — reconnecting us to shared physical knowing.
This is the aim: to re-member the body’s natural intelligence, and rediscover our common language through motion, breath, and being.
Tuong Phuong’s biography:
Tuong Phuong is a dancer, choreographer & educator with roots in physics and ballet. Trained at UC Irvine, SAB & Alvin Ailey, he performed with TanzForum Köln (1985–1998) and later studied dance pedagogy in Cologne. Co-winner of the 2011 Kölner Tanzpreis, he now teaches across Köln. His work explores body language as a universal form of connection – a somatic intelligence that unites us.
