This intensive invites you to dive into the power of imagination and helps you develop full-body awareness through organic, dynamic, and rhythmic movements. Using guided improvisation, we will explore a wide range of techniques and movement qualities.
Imagination will serve as a driving force to unlock new possibilities and deepen your connection to your body. We will transform this exploration into structured material, working with compositions, refining movement textures, and challenging ourselves creatively. Together, we will discover the complexity within simplicity.
Evelien Jansen (Eef) is a Dutch freelance dancer and choreographer. She graduated at the university of arts in Amsterdam. Eef joined Hofesh Shechter Company, humandhood and KOMOCO. Furthermore, she worked with choreographers such as Anne Suurendonk, Faizah Grootens, Dalton Jansen, Ruben Chi, Lotem Regev, Jason Mabana, and Heidi Vierthaler.
