NUOVA X, a professional dance program organized and supported by NOD under the artistic direction of Tom Weinberger, offers a unique and transformative experience for dedicated dancers seeking to refine their artistry and prepare for a professional career.
From September to June, the program is structured into three intensive sessions, each designed as a space for exploration, creation, and growth in contemporary dance.

Every trimester, NUOVA X hosts two parallel groups of selected international dancers – NUOVA X1 and NUOVA X2.
Each group works closely with two renowned choreographers during five-week residencies, engaging in an immersive creative process that expands both technical and artistic horizons.

The program emphasizes depth and continuity. Dancers are encouraged to push their limits, embrace vulnerability, and engage with diverse choreographic languages while developing the collaborative skills essential to today’s professional landscape. The supportive yet demanding atmosphere ensures that growth is not only possible, but inevitable.
At the end of each trimester, participants share their work through an Open Rehearsal, a moment to connect with the wider community and reflect on their artistic journey.
NUOVA X offers flexibility in duration: dancers may commit to the full academic year (September–June) or to one or two individual sessions.

How to apply:
In order to apply, please upload your CV together with two separate links – one showcasing yourself in an improvisation session ( 1 minute – 1 take ) and one where you execute a set piece of choreography ( max 2 minutes ).
