A new choreography and mentoring programme with monthly workshops addressed to makers and dancers with possible future collaborations within dAS FESTIVAL.

Schola Nova is the new choreography workshop organised by dAS_de Arte Saltandi in Piacenza (IT). It is a training and mentoring programme for dance makers and choreographers, and dancers who want to enhance their choreographic skills for both solo and ensemble works.
Special attention is paid to site-specific creation for unconventional spaces that is the core practice of dAS Festival. Schola Nova is also an opportunity for the mentored projects to build possible future collaborations within dAS Festival.
Schola Nova is a cycle of 16 workshops (divided into 8 weekends) from November 2025 to May 2026 in Piacenza (IT), including a final performance at the prestigious Sala dei Teatini, in collaboration with Fondazione Teatri Piacenza.
The international teaching team for 2025-26: Riccardo Buscarini (choreography/Schola Nova artistic director), Eleonora Marzani (performing arts creative processes), Aristide Rontini (choreography), Agnes Sipos (voice and choir).
The course will be held both in Italian and English.
