The International Training Program is a professional education program conceived by Roberto Altamura, founder of Milano Contemporary Ballet and Milano City Ballet.
Its aim is to provide young dancers with the tools to complete their training, enhance their potential, stimulate creativity and curiosity, and develop their individual artistic identity, while also offering guidance in navigating the professional dance world.

“Since 2015, our goal has always been to offer dancers a professionalizing experience that could lead them into the world of work,” says Roberto Altamura.
“That’s the spirit behind our many significant collaborations: up until 2018 with Company Wayne McGregor (whose repertoire was restaged), and later with companies such as Vertigo Dance Company, Cie Hervé Koubi, HUMANOOD, Dance Company IDEM, MN Dance Company, Skånes Dansteater, and artists including Roser Lopez Espinosa, Yin Yue, Jiri Pokorny, Sandra Garcia, Jon Bond, Kristian Lever, Nicola Monaco, among others.”

Milano Contemporary Ballet is not just a training course – it is a continuous exchange of cultures, languages, and diverse experiences.
Internationality is a defining feature of our identity: our dancers come from all over the world, including Italy, other European countries, and beyond.
