With the goal of offering a wide and diverse perspective of the world of contemporary dance, several artists are select and invited to work in the programme .

1- Professional Training Scholarship 60% 40% (Morning)
Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Descalzinhadanza offers scholarships for a limited number of places to participate in the Professional Training, Creation, and Research Program.This program is aimed at professionals or advanced students of contemporary dance, circus, theater, dancers, and/or freelance creators who wish to continue their training/updating intensively at the highest level and at a reduced price. It offers a high level of training due to the professional level of all the invited creators working for the main companies not only in Spain but also abroad.
The scholarship covers 10 months of professional training from September 1, 2025, to June 19, 2026.
It includes all 45 nationals and internationals guests who will offer training sessions, and creative weeks guests like Horacio Macuacua, Lali Ayguade, Alleyne Dance, dancers of Ultima Vez, Sasha Waltz, more.

2- “Materia” Creation ( Afternoon)
2025/26 Monday to  Thursday 3:30 p.m to 6:30 p.m
9 Months – 3 choreographers / professional companies – 3 Premiers with public
Is a project that will delve into creation and research regularly, providing space and time for the creative processes so important to our development as artists. We will select a closed group of professionals, artists, and/or advanced students who want to be part of the creative processes of three professional dance companies led by active choreographers with a recognized track record in contemporary dance performances.
Period from September to June 2025/26. 9 months from September 15, 2025, to June 18, 2026 (both inclusive).
