Kaaysá Art Residency is a space nestled in the heart of the Atlantic Forest, within a fully equipped artist residency. An inspiring environment for connection with nature, other artists, and diverse media.
Kaaysá can host up to 20 dancers and welcomes both individuals and groups for rehearsals, performances, and creative development. Stays can range from one week to one month or longer.
The dance studio measures 10m x 10m and features a wooden floating floor, theatrical lighting, a surround sound system, a projector, and a full-length mirror wall. It is surrounded by a grass-covered area, also suitable for rehearsals and movement exploration.
The residency offers comfortable accommodations with individual or double rooms, each with a private bathroom, as well as a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, bicycles, an atelier space, a projection room, a swimming pool, and more.
Kaaysá is located in Boiçucanga, on the northern coast of the state of São Paulo — a region known for its rich cultural diversity, stunning beaches, and preserved areas of the Atlantic Forest. It is easily accessible from the city of São Paulo and international airports.
The residency is situated near native Indigenous communities and traditional fishing villages, offering a unique context for cultural exchange and environmental immersion.
