Dance residency opportunity in the old city of Bethlehem welcomes international artists to collaboratively designing their own residency program (1-3 months) with Diyar Dance Theatre; housing and studio space included!

We seek professional dancers (individuals, ensembles, or companies) who are interested in being involved in our work in building up the contemporary dance scene in Bethlehem and who desire to invest in our mission of Creative Resistance.
To elevate contemporary dance in Bethlehem, this residency invites dancers to create a proposal that articulates their personal artistic & choreographic research and also how they would like to be collaboratively involved with the upcoming programming for Diyar Dance Theatre.
Each selected resident will have the opportunity to rehearse in multiple studio spaces located in the beautiful and historical old city of Bethlehem. Residents are invited to create meaningful opportunities for our students through classes, workshops, and open rehearsals / performances.
