Lizzy Mulkey is looking for 3- 5 dancers needed (Contemporary, improv and acting experience and willing to play attitude (go through process) is needed.

I am a bicoastal choreographer/actress/improver who often combes art forms. I create emotionally and site specifically driven dance/movement performances. I am collaborating with Director Heather Cappiello to recreate Break Glass 1.o plus a site-specific feminist performance. This piece was originally performed April 2018 at Platform in Culver City. We plan on touring this project and each time refining the work. The piece is about female identity, our various roles and/or masks we take on, the ways we find our power and voice, and finally the way we fight for our true self/desires/goals and lift others as well. We will be moving and thinking through these kinds of manias and calmer selves. Mental health teeter totter tipping left and right. Internal monologues that change like a mood ring on the fritz. Talking oneself down and back up again. The awkwardness of shaking up dormant sense of womanness. The ability to say what you need with or without explanation.
