BUBENÍČEK BALLET MASTERCLASSES 2025
After two great and successful editions held in Český Krumlov as part of the Music Festival Krumlov, this year the Bubeníček Ballet Masterclasses will be held for the first time in Prague, from August 6 to 17. Participants will train in the beautiful ballet studios of the State Opera Theatre. The program offers a unique opportunity for dancers to engage in ballet classes, variations,
contemporary classes, and more, guided by world-class instructors.
A special highlight of the masterclasses is the 2nd International Ballet Gala, taking place on August 16 and 17 at the prestigious Theatre Hybernia, located truly in the heart of the historical city, Old Prague. Renowned choreographer Jiří Bubeníček will create an exclusive choreography for the students, which they will perform during this glamorous event. The gala will also feature performances by international stars from elite companies.
UNIQUE CONCEPT
The Masterclasses combine the wisdom and experience of great internationally known established ballet masters and with the fresh perspectives of accomplished dancers still actively performing on stage. This dual approach ensures that students benefit from the vast knowledge of older generations while also learning from the vibrant, contemporary experience of artists currently living their careers.
Moreover, the masterclasses are not just about perfecting the technique of dance. They focus on artistry – helping dancers become true artists who can move and inspire audiences.
