The listening_lab is a week-long workshop focusing on listening as a tool for self-awareness that stimulates spontaneity, individual and collective creativity. The term ‘listening’ can be understood in different ways, which we would like to address and explore during this intensive week.
The individual workshops draw on various somatic approaches and provide insights into the working methods of the invited teachers from different fields and disciplines. Methods of dance improvisation meet work with sound, bodywork meets somatic therapy approaches.
The listening_lab aims to be a creative platform for encounters in an inviting environment for all this and much more.
The workshops are open to anyone interested in movement, sound, mindfulness, improvisation, and exploring oneself and others. (Exception: Forgotten places in the body/Streamflow Method by Heidi Vierthaler. This workshop is aimed at professional dancers).
