The workshop aims to explore the function of the artist and performer in contemporary society, analyzing the forms and languages of the body in contemporary dance. Through the study of movement techniques and bodily expression, participants will be guided in creating new forms of artistic expression that reflect the complexity and diversity of contemporary society, while drawing inspiration from the cultural and artistic heritage of the past.
The workshop explores the forms of the body in medieval paintings as a reference model to challenge contemporary social models and their stereotypes. Through contemporary dance, participants will be guided in creating new forms of artistic expression that reflect the complexity and diversity of contemporary society.
Objectives:
1. explore the role of the artist and performer in contemporary society and how they can influence culture and society.
2. create new forms of artistic expression that combine contemporary dance with other forms of art and culture, drawing inspiration from the cultural and artistic heritage of the past.
3. analyze the relationship between art and contemporary society and how art can influence and reflect culture and society.
