tanzkabuff is looking for two male-identifying performers with strong physical theatre and text skills — ideally with Latin American and/or Southeast Asian background — for the paid Salzburg production Mengele Zoo (Oct–Dec 2025, premiere Dec 3).

Physical Theatre Project (Salzburg Premiere)
The Salzburg-based theatre maker tanzkabuff is seeking two male-identifying performers with strong physical expression and creation skills for the upcoming physical theatre production Mengele Zoo.
The piece explores themes of protest, civil disobedience, eco-activism, resistance, butterflies, the jungle, and friendship. Rehearsals will begin in October, leading up to the premiere in December.
We are especially interested in performers with a Latin American and/or Southeast Asian background, who have good to excellent German language skills and are also confident working with text.
Ideally, candidates should be based in or near Salzburg (or in Munich/Vienna) or have personal connections in Salzburg that could support their stay (e.g. accommodation options).
Rehearsals: October – December 2025
Premiere: December 3, 2025, with two additional performances on December 4 & 5
