WWWITH is a pedagogical proposal developed and slowly crafted over years of experience as a performer and stage director by Guillermo Weickert, always using human and scenic movement as the raw material for his creations and work.

Where: Nunart, Barcelona

When: From July 21 to 25, Monday to Friday, from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM

Deadline for applications: July 21st 2025

The approach of this practice connects the fundamental and physical principles of dance and movement with broader and more general concepts, not only related to the scenic act and performance but also to our relational universe and encounters with others.

Learning processes and creative processes engage both individual and collective aspects: they are a personal journey that cannot be undertaken in isolation, but rather with the presence, support, and sustenance of the group, of the other, of others.

Any pedagogical process, in an appropriate context, transforms (or can transform) into a creative process, just as any creative process could (and should) also be a learning process. Navigating this dual approach—both individually and as part of a working team—expands not only the potential and richness of training but also the enjoyment and pleasure of the learning game. This pedagogical proposal places particular emphasis on the idea that creating and learning should manifest an essential and spontaneous joy in the participants of the process.

WWWITH unfolds through different “chapters” or thematic workshops, always focusing on what we do and how we do it: technical principles, artistic practice, and how to create better, more caring, and more mindful contexts for working with them.

In “The Strong Game”, through a revision of the core concepts that sustain Guillermo’s artistic language (spinal mobility, search for a healthy and personal movement, off-axis work, activation and projection of the energetic center, direction work, development of individual movement imaginaries and engines, floorwork, and spatial work…), we will develop an approach that bridges from the simplest and most basic physical conditioning exercises to the most sophisticated compositional strategies that allow us to generate material for scenic creation and movement performance.
