Lyon Opera Ballet is hoping to meet new performers for next season.

Lyon national Opera is a home of excellence, for creation, production and training in the lyrical, choreographical and musical fields. As one of the most important Opera houses in France and Europe, it benefits from the Ministry of Culture’s label “National Opera house” since January 1996. Lyon national Opera has access to permanent artistic forces: orchestra, choir, ballet and youth training program.
Lyon national Opera Ballet is composed of 30 dancers. They work in various choreographic languages on a daily basis and thus perform pieces from the repertoire as well as creations, in Lyon and on stages around the world.
Today, Lyon Opera Ballet is hoping to meet new performers. These artists must have benefited from excellent training in the classic academic language, mastery of the pointe work being appreciated, and confirmed professional experience. They will be distinguished by their excellent technical level both in classical and contemporary as well as by their great disposition for improvisation. These artists will notably perform pieces by choreographers such as William Forsythe, Merce Cunningham, Marcos Morau, Christos Papadopoulos, Lucinda Childs, Alessandro Sciarroni and Marlène Monteiro Freitas.
