Who is Terence Lewis?
An internationally acclaimed choreographer and Artistic Director of the Terence Lewis Contemporary Dance Company (Mumbai), Terence is a pioneer of Indo-Contemporary dance—fusing Indian classical and folk traditions with Western contemporary forms. Started self taught, trained at New York, was India’s first DanceWeb scholar in Vienna, and has judged major TV shows like Dance India Dance.
What to expect?
A high-energy, soul-stirring dive into Indian movement culture—Kathak footwork, Kalari legwork, mujra, mudras, facial expressions (abhinaya), including modern spirals, release technique, Bollywood combinations, and breathwork.
Who is it for?
Dancers, performers, movers, dreamers, pros or beginners – everyone’s welcome!
We invite self-expression: drag kings & queens, exhibitionists, quiet observers – dress in celebration.
